Baby Friendly Pancakes

Baby Friendly Pancakes 

These easy baby friendly pancakes contain #noaddedsugar and are naturally sweetened by the banana. The addition of almond flour adds vitamin E and essential minerals. Chia seeds bring omega 3’s and protein.  They are soft but hold their shape well thus so perfect for little ones without teeth!

Cook: 10 mins

Serves: 1 adult & 1 toddler 

Suitable From: 6 months + 

Can be frozen for 3 months  

What do you need?

1 ripe banana

1 egg

3 tbsps oats

2 tbsps almond flour

1 tbsp chia seeds



1 tsp cinnamon

Allergy Swap:

Use oats in place of the almond flour.


  1. Mash the banana until smooth and then add in the egg. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Add in the oats, almond flour and chia seeds. Combine well.
  3. Heat a dash of coconut oil in a pan over a low-medium heat. Using a tablespoon spoon the mixture onto the pan. Cook for a few minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  4. Serve alongside fruit and yoghurt for dipping!
