Christmas Granola
This Christmas granola is unreal! Packed with warming festive spices, flavour and it’s so easy to make! It’s a fun one to do with the kids and to gift to friends and family!
We’ve been enjoying this with kefir yoghurt and fresh fruit.
We also doubled up the recipe made a big batch to gift to friends and family. We tied some hessian and ribbon around the jars for some fun festive decoration!

To make a bigger batch, just double up the ingredients!
What do you need?
3 cups oats
1 cup crushed nuts (I like almonds and walnuts in this)
1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
1 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup cranberries
1 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup unrefined sugar or coconut or sugar
2 tbsp molasses
Zest from one orange
Optional:
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Then...
Preheat your oven to 170c and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Combine the oats, spices, crushed nuts and cranberries in a bowl.
In another bowl, combine the coconut oil, unrefined sugar, molasses and orange zest.
Combine the dry and wet ingredients.
Spread onto the baking tray in an even layer.
Bake for 15-20 mins, turning halfway.
Once slightly cool, stir through the chocolate chips.
This will last for about 3 weeks in an airtight container.
