Constipated Baby/Toddler Chia Pudding 

Constipation is a common problem for many young children; it can be painful, uncomfortable and make them feel quite miserable. 

This delicious and creamy chia pudding is packed with ingredients that can help to relieve constipation and it tastes absolutely delicious too!

What’s in it?  

Chia Seeds - are high in soluble fibre which can help soften stool.

Dates - a natural laxative

Ripe Banana - contains soluble fibre which can help soften stool.  

Prep: 5 mins

Cook: 20 mins

Serves: 2 servings 

Suitable From: 6 months + 

 

What do you need?

1/3 cup/80ml coconut milk

1 ripe banana 

1 date

1 prune

2 tbsps chia seeds

 

Then....

Blitz together the banana, coconut milk, dates and prunes until smooth.

Stir in the chia seeds and mix well. 

Pour the mixture into a jar or bowl and cover. Pop into the fridge for a minimum of 20 minutes, ideally an hour or more. This allows the chia seeds to swell and creates a creamy pudding texture! 

This can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for 2 days.
