Peanut Butter Overnight Oats


We’ve all been there right? You just can’t get that last bit of peanut butter out, it’s too hard and you can’t quite scoop it out. Then this is the recipe for you! 

Peanut butter overnight oats made with just 6 ingredients, no cooking required, minimal prep and they taste so delicious! 

Do overnight oats have to be eaten cold?

No! They can can be eaten cold, or you can warm them if you prefer. 

How long do overnight oats last?

They can last for a couple of days in the fridge. The chia seeds will continue to absorb liquid so you might need to add a splash more milk.

Cook: 5 hours

Serves: 1 serving

Suitable From: 6 months 

What do you need?

1 nearly empty jar of peanut butter

1/2 cup rolled oats (or use gluten free oats for gluten free alternative)

1/2 cup milk of choice 

1 heaped tbsp chia seeds 

1 tbsp maple syrup/honey (omit for under 1’s) OR use 1 finely chopped date 

1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon 


1. Add all of the ingredients to the peanut butter jar, pop on the lid and shake, shake, shake!

2. Cover the jar and leave in the fridge for a minimum of 5 hours, ideally overnight.

3. The next morning, serve straight from the fridge; I like to top it with some fruit! 

Note: You can also make this in any lidded jar and use 2 tbsp peanut butter.
