High Iron Beetroot, Apple & Pear Purée

High Iron Beetroot, Apple & Pear Purée

This vibrant purée is gently spiced and bursting with vitamins, minerals, iron, fibre and flavour! The sweetness from the fruit and cinnamon pairs beautifully with the earthy taste of the beetroot.

It is freezer friendly, comes together quickly and can be used in so many different ways!

I like to vacuumed packed beets as it saves on the cooking time but you could certainly steam the beets yourself for about 25 minutes until tender.

Beets are rich in iron, vit A & C. They are also an excellent source of folic acid, fibre, magnese and potassium, making them a great addition to any diet! Pears and apples contain vit C which helps the the absorption of iron.
