Chia Jam, Coconut & Nut Butter Banana Sandwich

Chia Jam, Coconut & Nut Butter Banana Sandwich

This delicious banana sandwich is such a fun and easy snack!

A ripe but firm banana makes this even more delicious as the banana adds natural sweetness. You can also freeze these little bites and they taste AMAZING straight from the freezer!

I always use my homemade chis jam for this snack because there is no refined sugar and it is loaded with healthy fiber and vitamins and minerals. You can find the recipe here.

Offering nutritionally dense snacks is so important as snacks are a great opportunity to offer foods you feel your child may not be eating enough of at meal times, for example, healthy fats or protein.
