Hydrating Food & Drink For Sick Toddlers

When it comes to sick kids hydration is the number one priority. It doesn’t matter what kind of illness they have, a stomach bug, a fever, diarrhoea or a cold, HYDRATION is always the priority. ⁠⠀ ⠀⁠⠀

Not all kids love to drink water so adding veggies/fruits with a high water content to their meals, serving them as snacks, adding them to smoothies or freezing as popsicles will help contribute to their fluid intake and keep them hydrated.

Some veggies/fruits with a high water content:

Celery

Cucumber

Bell Peppers

Broccoli

Zucchini

Tomatoes

Peaches

Strawberries

Melon

Pineapple

Oranges

Mango

Kiwi

Watermelon
