Nut Free Coconut & Tahini Granola Bars

Nut free, school safe and no bake! These granola bars are the perfect lunchbox addition! 

They are so simple to make, flavoursome and packed full of nutritious ingredients. They are perfect for popping into lunchboxes or a quick after school snack. 

Make a big batch and store them in the freezer for quick and easy lunchbox packing! 

You could add in some dried fruit too if you prefer - 1/4 cup would work well!

Cook:  2 hours 

Serves: 12 bars 

Suitable From: 12 months +

What do you need?

1 1/4 cup/110g oats 

1/2 cup/25g desiccated coconut 

3 tbsp milled flaxseed 

3/4 cup tahini |(or substitute sunflower seed butter)

1/4 cup/60ml honey| (or substitute maple syrup for vegan alternative)

3 tbsp coconut oil 

Then....

 Add the oats, desiccated coconut and flaxseed to a bowl and combine. 

Then add the tahini, honey and coconut oil. Stir until well combined. 

Line a tray with baking parchment and pour the mixture in. Press down with a spatula and pop into the fridge or freezer for a couple of hours, until firm. 

Slice and serve!

These can be stored in the freezer for 3 months.
