Buckwheat Pizza Dough

Buckwheat Pizza 

I’m not going to tell you that this tastes like regular pizza dough but I can assure you that it’s just as delicious and totally Toddler approved! Buckwheat brings protein, iron, B Vitamins and calcium making it a great alternative to regular pizza dough.

Cook: 10 mins

Serves: 1 adult  & 1 toddler 

Suitable From: 8 months + 

What do you need?

  • 2 cups buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp oil


  1. Preheat your oven to 200ºC.
  2. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl until well combined and a dough forms. You may need a dash more flour to get the consistency right.
  3. Gently roll out the dough and then transfer it onto a pizza tray or a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add on your toppings of choice and bake until the cheese melts.
  6. Cut into slices and enjoy!
