“Mummy Boo-nanas” (Frozen Banana Lollies)
Spooky Frozen Banana Lollies
Here is a fun 🎃👻Halloween spin on these 🍌banana lollies from my ebook, easy healthy snacks. These delicious lollies are a fun and easy snack upgrade that are jam packed with nutritious ingredients, protein, healthy fats, fibre and iron! They are so simple to make and little ones will love getting involved.
What do you need?
1⁄4 cup full fat Greek yoghurt
2 tbsps milled flaxseed
2 tbsps desiccated coconut
1 tbsp peanut butter
Edible eyes or raisins
For the chocolate sauce:
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp cacao powder OR melt some chocolate and use that instead!
- Cut your banana in half and pop each half on a lolly stick.
- Dip the banana in the yoghurt and then sprinkle on the flaxseed and coconut.
- Drizzle over some peanut butter/melted chocolate and pop on the eyes.
- Freeze for a couple of hours and then enjoy!
Make it vegan:
Use coconut yoghurt in place of Greek yoghurt.
