Immune Boosting Banana & Blueberry Flavoured Yoghurt
This delicious immune boosting yoghurt is a fast, easy and protein packed snack option.
Homemade flavoured yoghurts are a great alternative to shop bought flavoured yoghurts which are notoriously high in added sugar.
This yoghurt is delicious, creamy, flavoursome and bursting with Vit C, antioxidants, potassium and good for your gut bacteria.
Why is it immune boosting?
- The blueberries, a true superfood being antioxidants and a plenty of vitamins and minerals.
- The lemon adds a burst of vitamin C to helps fight viruses.
- Look for yoghurt which contains live cultures as they help boost the immune system. The live bacteria and yeasts have a plethora of health benefits and Vitamin D. You can also substitute the yoghurt with Kefir.

What do you need?
1 cup yoghurt
1 banana
1/2 cup blueberries
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Then...
- Purée the banana and blueberries in a blender until smooth.
- Add the puréed fruit to the yoghurt and mix until combined.
- Stir in the lemon juice and mix.
- Serve and enjoy!
