Boo-nana Ghosts (Banana Milkshake)
We make this smoothie quite often and today I thought I’d re take some photos to share the recipe but this photo of my little guy enjoying this smoothie last year is definitely the best picture! Add on some eyes and a mouth and you have a fun spooky Halloween smoothie!
This smoothie is a great high calorie option as it’s loaded with lots of healthy fat and protein to keep little tummies full! I like to serve this smoothie when he isn’t eating like normal as it’s nutrient dense and filling.

Serves: 1 adult & 1 toddler
Suitable From: 8 months + (omit maple syrup for under 1’s)
Can be frozen for 3 months into Popsicles
What do you need?
2 tbsps of oats
2 tbsps nut butter, we like cashew or peanut
2 tbsps full fat yoghurt
Maple syrup to taste, or you can omit if your banana is quite ripe
2 tbsps flaxseeds
1/4 cup milk
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and whizz until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
