“Is he getting enough iron?” I know this question is always on my mind and I receive so many questions asking for more iron rich recipe ideas. This smoothie is a great option as it’s really easy to whip up and pairs iron rich foods with foods that enhance iron absorption.
This smoothie is so creamy and delicious... the perfect iron boosting snack!

Serves: 2 servings
Suitable From: 6 months +
Can be frozen for 3 months into popsicles
What do you need?
- 1 cup chopped spinach & kale
- 1 small frozen ripe banana
- 1/2 cup chopped kiwi
- 1/2 cup chopped pineapple
- 2 tbsps chia seeds
- 1 cup filtered water (or more if you like it thinner)
Optional:
- 1 Medjool date (if you like it sweeter)
Then...
- Whizz everything together until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
