Toddler Friendly Electrolyte Drink

Toddler Friendly Electrolyte Drink

Diarrhoea or vomiting causes us to lose electrolytes which need to be replenished.  Store bought electrolyte drinks are loaded with all sorts of unnecessary artificial ingredients, refined sugar and even oils.

This simple and delicious hydrating drink helps to balance electrolytes and you can double up the recipe and freeze into popsicles too!

The fruit adds vitamins and minerals, whilst the honey adds a boost of carbohydrates for energy and also helps the absorption of the minerals from the salt.

I like to use Himalayan salt but any sea salt is fine. The salt contains trace minerals to provide the electrolytes.
