Constipation is a common problem for many young children; it can be painful, uncomfortable and make them feel quite miserable. Hydration and “p” fruits are always recommended; pears, prunes, plums and peaches are key to helping to get things moving.
This delicious smoothie is packed with ingredients to help relieve constipation and tastes delicious too!
What’s in it?
Chia Seeds - are high in soluble fibre which can helps soften stool.
Prunes - a natural laxative
Kefir - contains probiotics which are live bacteria known to help restore balance in the gut, thereby improving digestion and constipation.
Blueberries & Strawberries - are rich source of nutrients, including dietary fiber, which can help alleviate and prevent constipation
Dates - a natural laxative

Can be frozen for 3 months into Popsicles
What do you need?
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup kefir
1/4 cup blueberries & strawberries
2 tbsps chia seeds
3 prunes
3 dates
Then....
1. Blitz together all of the ingredients until smooth. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a like more coconut milk.
