Apple Pie Oats

Delicious, nutritious, gently spiced and filling. The oats provide slow release complex carbs to keep your baby fuelled for busy days.

The oats are infused with warming spices, such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and the perfect way to introduce new flavours to your baby!

Serves: 1 adult & 1 toddler

Suitable From: 6 months + 


What do you need?

1 tbsp grass fed butter or sub coconut oil

1/2 cup oats

1 small grated apple

1 cup milk of choice

1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

1/2 tsp mixed spice 

1 tbsp flaxseed

A couple of crushed pecan nuts

Then….

1. Add the butter to a pan and when melted add in the oats and toast for a couple of minutes.  Then add in the grated apple and milk and combine. 

2. Then stir in the flaxseed, mixed spice and cinnamon and cook for 6-7 mins, stirring until thick and creamy (if the mixture seems to thick, add a splash more milk)

3. I love to serve this topped with chopped apples, crushed pecans and a little more cinnamon!
