Apple Pie Oats

Apple pie oats is always in our breakfast rotation. Quick, delicious and loaded up with protein and healthy fat to fuel busy days.

Serves: 1 adult & 1 toddler

Suitable From: 6 months + 


What do you need?

• ¼ cup oats

• ¼ cup quinoa flakes

• 1 grated apple

• 1 cup milk of choice

• 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

• 1 tbsp flaxseed

• A couple of crushed pecan nuts

 

Then….

1. Add the oats, quinoa flakes, grated apple and milk to a pan and combine. 

2. Then add in the remaining ingredients and cook for 6-7 mins, stirring until thick and creamy (if the mixture seems to thick, add a splash more milk)

3. I love to serve this topped with chopped apples and a little more cinnamon!
