Perfect Instant Pot Boiled Eggs
Say goodbye to babysitting the stove and watching the clock like a hawk! Boiling eggs in the Instant Pot results in perfectly boiled eggs every time and they are SO easy to peel! Boiled eggs are not only great for breakfast, but also great for snacking on the go as they are packed with protein, vitamins and minerals making them a great accompaniment to fruit/veggies.

What do you need?
6 eggs
1 cup water
Ice bath (cold water + ice in a large bowl)
Handled trivet
Then...
- Pour the water into the Instant Pot and place a handled trivet into the Inner pot.
- Carefully place the eggs in a single layer onto the trivet, ensuring that they don't overlap.
- Secure the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing.
- Select Pressure Cook/Manual and set to High Pressure for 5 minutes*(see note).
- When cooking is complete move the steam release handle to Venting and release the pressure. Carefully open the lid and using tongs transfer the eggs to the ice bath for 3-5 minutes.
- Peel the eggs, slice in half or quarters and enjoy!
*For soft boiled eggs pressure cook for 3 minutes, followed by a quick pressure release and then place the eggs in the ice bath for 3 minutes.
For medium boiled eggs pressure cook for 3 minutes, followed by a natural pressure release for 3 minutes and then move the steam release valve to Venting to release any additional pressure. Place the eggs in the ice bath for 3 minutes.
