Kale Crisps (Chips)


Kale Crisps
 

Today I’m sharing this recipe from my eBook, Baby & Toddler Friendly Family Meals. I had a huge bag of kale to use up and there were so many requests for kale crisps! 

These kale crisps definitely hit the spot if you have a savoury, cheesy craving! They provide a whole host of nutrients and vitamins; nutritional yeast gives these their cheesy flavour and is bursting with B vitamins and is a complete source of protein. Complete snack win!! 

Prep: 5 mins

Cook: 15 mins

Serves: 1 adult  & 1 toddler 

Suitable From: 6 months + 

 

What do you need?

A large bag of kale (around 500g), washed and thoroughly dried

1 tbsp oil of choice

1⁄3 cup Nutritional Yeast or 1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

 

Then...

1. Preheat your oven to 180c and line a baking tray.
2. Combine the kale, oil, garlic powder and nutritional yeast/Parmesan cheese and mix well. 
4. Ensure that the kale isn’t overlapping. 
5. Bake for 15-20 mins.
6. Enjoy!
