Puff Pastry Bunnies
Happy Easter from our kitchen to yours!
These delicious puff pastry Easter bunnies come together so quickly and are a fun baking activity for little ones!
We had so much fun baking these together this morning and Z really wanted to share them with everybody!

Serves: 4
What do you need?
1 sheet of puff pastry
1 tbsp of melted butter
1 heaped tsp cinnamon
2 tbsps coconut sugar
2 tbsps milk
For the frosting:
3 tbsps cream cheese
1 tsp maple syrup
Then...
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray.
- Cut the puff pastry sheet in half.
- Brush one half with 1 tbsp of melted butter. Leaving about 1 cm on each vertical edge.
- Sprinkle over the cinnamon and coconut sugar.
- Brush the other half of the pastry with the remaining butter and place butter side down, over the sheet with the cinnamon sugar.
- Use a fork to crimp the vertical edges.
- Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the pastry into 1 cm strips.
- Shape each strip into a bunny.
- Brush the bunnies with milk.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
- In a bowl combine the cream cheese and maple syrup to create a frosting.
- Once the bunnies are cool, pipe the frosting into their bottoms!
- Serve and enjoy!
