Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish
Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish
These delicious little pastries are perfect for a fun weekend breakfast or as a snack. They come together so quickly and taste so decadent.
The creamy and slightly tangy cream cheese pairs perfectly with sweet and juicy strawberries. I also opt for chia jam in this recipe making these free from added sugar.
You can also make them ahead of time, pop into the freezer and bake when you ready!
There is no added sugar, just natural sweetness from the fruit, making them perfect for babies too!
I’ve opted for hearts for a fun Valentine’s Day twist to these but you can simply cut them into rectangles or squares if you prefer.

4. Using a slightly smaller heart or a knife score an indented line in each heart, leaving about 1/3 of an edge.
5. Spread the cream cheese filling onto each heart without covering the edge.
6. Add the diced strawberries over the cream cheese layer.
7. Brush the edges with milk (or an egg if you prefer) and bake for about 15-18 minutes until golden and puffed up.
7. Allow the pastry too cool before serving to little one's as the filling will be very hot.
