Chocolate Ice Cream

Toddler Friendly Chocolate Ice Cream

Simple ingredients, no added sugar and it tastes AMAZING!! This ice cream recipe couldn’t be any simpler! You can add whatever toppings you like but I love serving this with desiccated coconut and a sprinkling of chia seeds!
I always use cacao powder for a chocolatey flavour as it isn’t roasted and therefore the enzymes in it remain active which means it is nutrient-rich and packed with antioxidants.

What do you need?

  • 4 frozen bananas, chopped into quarters
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

Then...

  1. Place all of the ingredients into your blender.
  2. Blend on high until the bananas start to break down. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a couple of times.
  3. Be patient! It may take 3-4 minutes until you have the most decadent soft serve ice cream.

Allergy Swap:

Switch the nut butter for sunflower seed butter.
